You find solutions on Google every day, but it may have become such a part of your daily routine that you haven’t realize how easy it is.
Increase visibility to new content you create by sharing it on social networks and building links to your content (both internally and from external sites). Don’t rely on the tips you read from unknown sources. If somebody discovers the secret to rank first on Google for competitive keywords, it’s very unlikely that they will share it with strangers.
Write with your audience’s questions in mind
Linking out is huge. Don't be a link hoard; you're going to create content, so use it to gain favor with other people. I'll go more into depth below with specific tactics on linking out, but in general, you only have something to gain when you’re linking out. Keywords are still a factor in content, but with the Hummingbird update in 2013, the way they are used, viewed, and searched has changed dramatically. Great content must start with specific intent (particularly, a very interesting topic). Integrate keywords, not only into the content itself, but also into the title, the meta description and even the canonical URL.
