SEO requires so much content because it wants to grow. Google doesn’t want to see a stagnant, unchanging website. Does your site sabotage your content?
SEOs have tried many ways to sneak in links. One of the more creative ways was to embed a link into an infographic. However, they do care about the keywords you use on your web pages so make sure you use them properly. Weave them throughout the text in a natural way and use variations just to cover the entire basis.
