When your schedule is manic and you just haven’t got the time to create new material, re-purposing existing content is the ultimate time-saving strategy. And although it may seem like the lazy option, it’s actually a really effective aspect of content marketing. Well-written content is also far more likely to generate backlinks - links from other websites directing people to yours. This will boost your sites ranking in search engines, ensuring that the content people are being directed to is of a high standard. Some websites (on entering them) request a malware installation. These kind of websites are categorized separately by Google, as they can sense something fishy or suspicious activity going on in there. Linking to such websites can negatively affect your rankings. Google displays featured snippets in search when they believe this format will help people more easily discover what they’re seeking, both from the description and when they click on the link to read the page itself.

The hardest part of SEO is waiting

Keywords or key phrases are simply the search terms someone types into a search engine, such as Google or Bing, when they are looking for certain information. People are constantly using keywords: whether they are in search for a specific product or just browsing to conduct personal research. Don't go overboard with your internal linking or you risk overwhelming the reader. One or two relevant links per post is usually a good maximum, with more in longer posts. Using a lot of engaging media like helpful graphics, interesting (and related) images, and videos can also help to provide more value and keep visitors more engaged. Thus, keeping them around longer. There’s strong evidence that click-through rates will influence your website’s Google search ranking, though this is difficult to confirm given the company’s secrecy surrounding their algorithms.

Don't “only” concentrate on Google

It’s all about website analytics — a powerful tool that gives you a full-picture analysis of how your website is doing online, and insight into areas that can use improvement. Services like Google Analytics give you a full-picture view of your site’s success with detailed statistics about a website’s traffic, visitors, conversions and sales. A 301 redirect, or also known as a permanent redirect, should be put in place to permanently redirect a page. The word ‘permanent’ is there to imply that ALL qualities of the redirected page will be passed on to the detour page. Duplicate content as an SEO issue is a major factor. Duplicate content is when more than one page has the same content. Basically, don’t try to spam the same content across your website as this doesn’t arouse Google’s attention. This includes keywords (yes, we recommend you use keywords a number of times across your site but don’t go overboard and focus on just repetitive keywords.) We all know that getting backlinks (a.k.a. inbound links) from trusted websites is a great way to give your website’s search rankings a boost. However, there’s also a dark side to backlinks. If Google suspects that there are spammy, low-quality sites linking to your site, your rankings could suffer. This is known as “negative SEO”. (In some cases, spammers will purposely direct lots of low-quality links to your site in order to cause negative SEO.)

It Doesn't Mean Anything Without Data

Think of SEO as one small part of a much more cohesive marketing strategy. As we know that Google optimizes its results for user intent, hence, this is a way to know what content the searchers are looking for when they make a search for a keyword. Make a note of the things that you can implement in your content. The key is to find the keywords in our niches which have low competition and create content for those specific searches to take advantage of the void in the niche we are working in. According to SEO Consultant, Gaz Hall: "Over the last decade, Google has narrowed down its focus to ensure that it satisfies user experience at all cost. "

Encourage customers to leave positive reviews

If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results? SEO and content marketing are two different processes. You could describe the main difference like this: SEO is narrow and technical, while content marketing is broad and holistic. It doesn’t matter how many searches a keyword has in a month if it doesn’t accurately reflect the content on your page! Take a look at which sites are currently winning the front page for the phrase you are hoping to win. Then, go ahead and link to a few of them within your own content. It can be within the body of the text, or you can include a few links at the bottom with a “More on This Subject” type of call to action (CTA). It may seem like this could lead eyes to a direct competitor, but don’t be afraid to break the mold and link to them anyway.
